It started with a belief in better health

In 1879, Eu Kong opened Yan Sang with a simple belief: better health should be within reach through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).That belief has travelled with us ever since. Today, we bring generations of TCM wisdom into modern life through trusted products, clinics and research—with the rigour to match the trust people place in us.

Where our story begins
On 23 July, Eu Kong opens the first Yan Sang shop, turning a former opium den into a place of healing and health.

1909

Beyond our first shores
Eu Yan Sang opens its Hong Kong branch, marking its first overseas venture.

1910

Eu Yan Sang is named
Eu Tong Sen moves the headquarters to Singapore and adds the family name “Eu” to the medical business.

1996

Growing as one
Eu Yan Sang unifies its operations across its three core Asian markets, laying the foundation for regional growth.
